👩🍳 Instructions
-
1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
-
2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
-
3
In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
-
4
Beat in the egg until just combined, then stir in the vanilla extract.
-
5
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
-
6
In a separate small bowl, gently toss the fresh blueberries with 1 tablespoon of flour. This helps prevent them from sinking.
-
7
Gently fold the floured blueberries and white chocolate chips into the cookie dough using a rubber spatula.
-
8
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie. Press a few extra white chocolate chips and blueberries onto the tops of the dough balls for a prettier finish.
-
9
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are still soft. Do not overbake.
-
10
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
💡 Notes
For best results, use high-quality white chocolate. If using frozen blueberries, do not thaw them; toss directly with flour and add to the dough. Cookies stay fresh in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
